Huduma kwa wawekezaji

TKituo cha Uwekezaji Tanzania ni mahali pa kuanzia kwa mwekezaji mtarajiwa. Ni taasisi ya msingi ya Serikali yenye jukumu la kuratibu, kuhimiza, kukuza na kuwezesha uwekezaji . Kisheria idara na taasisi zote za Seriklali zimetakiwa zishirikiane kwa ukamilifu na TIC katika jitihada zake za kutimiza majukumu yake.

Kituo cha kuwezesha huduma zote mahali pamoja kinawasaidia wawekezaji (wa ndani na nje) alimradi wana miradi yenye thamani ya USD 100,000 (kwa Watanzania) na USD 300,000 (kwa wageni).

Kituo hikii kinawezesha kupta vivutio, usajili wa kampuni , upataji wa leseni za biashara, ulipaji kodi, upataji wa ardhi, vibali vya kazi na viza za mwekezaji.

Wawekezaji katika uchimbaji wa madini na mafuta wanapata leseni zao kutoka Wizara ya Nishati na Madini. Miradi inayohitaji ubia kati ya sekta binafsi na ya umma (PPP) inaratibiwa na kuwezeshwa na TIC na Wizara ya Fedha.

Lupata kibali cha vivutio

Vivutio vinaweza kuwa vya fedha au visivyokuwa vya fedha. Vivutio vya fedha ni pamoja na: misamaha ya ushuru wa uagizaji bidhaa na VAT kwa mtaji wa mradi au zinazotarajiwa kuwa ni bidhaa za mtaji na Mpango wa Kurudishiwa Ushuru wa Uagizaji bidhaa. Vivutio visivyokuwa vya fedha ni pamoja na kibali cha uhamiaji cha hadi watu 5, uhalilishaji wa faida halisi wa uhakika au gawio la uwekezaji, malipo kuhusiana na mikopo ya nje, ulipaji wa mapato halisi kwa kodi zote na majukumu mengine, ada za mrabaha na tozo nyingine, malipo ya mishahara na mafao mengine kwa watumishi wa kigeni.

Vivutio maalum vinatolewa kwa wawekezaji wa kimkakati wenye miradi ya zaidi ya USD milioni 20 wanaotoa matokeo mahususi au matokeo makubwa kwa jamii au uchumi.

Extension of Certificate of Incentives

Investors can obtain Certificate of Incentives in two phases. In first phase the validity of the Certificate of Incentives is three (3) years. The Investor may choose to apply for the three (3) years at once or apply for one year or two years as long as he/she does not exceed the three years, depending on the nature of the business. In case after three years (3) an Investor still need incentives he/she may apply for an extension of Certificate of Incentives. In this phase an investor is given a maximum of two years, which are broken into one year each. Meaning that you can not get all two years at once.

Kituo cha Uwekezaji Tanzania (TIC) huwezesha wawekezaji kusajili kupata numba ya kitambulisho ya mlipa kodi (TIN) na kupata misamaha ya kodi kama kupitia Sheria ya Uwekezaji wa Tanzania ya mwaka 1997 na Sheria ya Kodi ya Mapato. Wawekezaji pia hupata taarifa zote kuhusu masuala ya kodi Tanzania.
Obtain tax identification number (TIN) for companies
All tax payers (companies and Individuals) must register Taxpayer's Identification Number (TIN). In this case company as an entity and all company Directors must register for TIN. TIN is provided free of charge.
Obtain tax identification number (TIN) for Individuals
Every individual taxpayer need to have a TIN certificate. Personal TIN certificate is useful during online registration of business with BRELA.

National Identification Authority (NIDA) expand_more expand_less
The National Identification Authority (NIDA) is responsible for registration and issuance of National Identification Cards to Tanzanian citizens and Legal residents. Legal residents are eligible for NIDA card if they have valid valid national passport and valid residence permit of not less than six months. Legal Residents dependents of 18 years and above are also eligible to get the ID.  NIDA ID card is a prerequisite for business registration in Tanzania.
Obtain Identification card (Citizens)

OBTAIN WORK PERMITS expand_more expand_less
Foreign investors can obtain work permits and other labour related services at the Tanzania Investment Centre's One Stop Shop (OSS). Labour officers from the Ministry of Labour, Youth, Employment and Persons with Disability are stationed at the OSS. Work permit issued include Class A for Shareholders, Class B for Science Expatriates and Class C for Directors and other Expatriates.

The application for work permit starts with filling an online form on Ministry's website https://workpermit.mof.go.tz/ and then submitting the physical documents to TIC for investors and to the Ministry Head Quarters in Dodoma for non-investors.
